KATHMANDU: Admiral Samuel Paparo, Commander of the United States Indo-Pacific Command, is arriving in Nepal for a three-day visit on Thursday.
During his stay, he is scheduled to hold formal meetings and visit the Nepali Army’s Birendra Peace Operations Training Centre in Panchkhal, according to the Nepali Army.
The Directorate of Public Relations and Information of the Nepali Army said that the visit is expected to further strengthen bilateral ties between the two countries and enhance cooperation in areas such as humanitarian assistance, disaster management, and international peacekeeping operations.
Admiral Paparo is visiting Nepal as per a pre-scheduled program, according to the army.
