US Deputy Secretary of State meets PM Oli

KATHMANDU: US Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources Richard Verma paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Kathmandu on Friday.

According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, different issues related to bilateral relations were discussed during the meeting.

Verma arrived in Kathmandu on Friday. During his visit, he will meet with officials of the Nepal government, USAID Nepal’s implementing partners, tea experts and Nepali business leaders, according to the US Embassy in Kathmandu.
