KATHMANDU: National Youth Federation Nepal (NYFN), the youth wing of the ruling CPN-UML, has decided to hold its 10th National Convention by the second week of May.
NYFN General Secretary Suman Puri urged district committees on Wednesday to make necessary preparations for the general convention to be held by mid-May.
CPN-UML has directed its sister organizations to conduct their general conventions by the second week of April.
According to Puri, the NYFN has already directed its district committees to hold district conventions by mid-March. “If district committees fail to hold convention by that timeframe, the convention will be held in the leadership of the district in-charges,” Puri added.
Pur also said that the NYFN has decided to nominate three leaders as secretaries in the central executive committee.
