UML issues whip to vote for Appropriation Bill

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML has issued a whip, instructing all its members to attend and vote in favor of the Appropriation Bill, 2025, in the House of Representatives on Tuesday.

The lower house will vote on Tuesday to pass the budget for fiscal year 2025/26.

“The Appropriation Bill for the fiscal year 2025/26 presented by the government is scheduled to be tabled for decision in the House of Representatives meeting on Tuesday. Therefore, all members of the CPN-UML Parliamentary Party are directed to attend the session without fail and vote in favor of the proposal,” the whip issued by UML’s Chief Whip Mahesh Bartaula states.

The government presented a budget of Rs 1,964 billion for the upcoming fiscal year in the joint session of parliament on May 29.
