KATHMANDU: A high-level delegation of CPN-UML, led by its General Secretary Shankar Pokharel, is embarking on a 12-day visit to China at the invitation of the Communist Party of China (CPC) on Saturday.

Issuing a statement on Friday, UML’s publicity department announced that Dr. Rajan Bhattarai, the chief of the party’s foreign affairs department, and Rajendra Gautam, the chief of the publicity department, along with other central-level leaders, will be a part of the delegation.

The UML delegation is scheduled to visit several Chinese cities, including Beijing, Chongqing, and Qinghai. According to the statement, the UML delegation will engage in discussions covering various aspects of bilateral relations between Nepal and China, as well as the dynamics of party relations between CPN-UML and the Chinese Communist Party (CPC).
