KATHMANDU: Two women died of suffocation in Dadeldhura district on Sunday night.
The deceased have been identified as Dhauladevi Diyal (60) and her daughter-in-law Punam Diyal (26) of Malam in Amargadhi-1, according to the District Police Office, Dadeldhura.
Police say the women had lit a coal fire to warm themselves in their room.
“The two were found unconscious on Monday morning. When relatives took them to the hospital, the doctors declared them dead,” Kusum Nayak of the District Police Office told RSS news agency.
