ITAHARI: An unidentified group opened fire in Dewanganj Rural Municipality of Sunsari on Monday evening, injuring two.
According to the District Police Office, Sunsari, two individuals were injured in the attack. They have been identified as Ravindra Yadav (24) from Dwanganj-2 and Shivu Kumar Mehta from Dewanganj-1. Mehta is seriously injured, while Yadav’s condition is stable, police say.
A police team led by Inspector Parshuram Rai has reached the scene and is searching for the group responsible for the attack, according to District Police Office, Sunsari.
