Two girls die by drowning in Dailekh

SURKHET: Two girls drowned while swimming in Mahabu of Dailekh on Friday.

According to the District Police Office, Dailekh, Bhawana Budha (14) and Sapana Kumari Budha (16) of Amarse in Mahabu Rural Municipality-3 drowned while swimming in the Chhamghat River.

The girls had reached the riverbank while herding their goats and decided to take a dip in the river, said Inspector Dipendra Magarati, the information officer of the District Police Office, Dailekh.
