Two found dead in Sinamangal

KATHMANDU: Two individuals were found dead in a guesthouse in Kathmandu on Friday.

According to SP Nabaraj Adhikari, the spokesperson from the District Police Range Kathmandu, Bharat Bahadur Sarki (23) and Karishma Sarki (18) of  Triveni-2 of Bajura were found dead in Room No. 402 of Jharna Guest House in Sinamangal.

“The throat of the woman was slit, while the man was found hanging,” Adhikari said. “The owner of the guesthouse called the police at around 1 pm after the two didn’t open the door for a long time.”

SP Adhikari said an investigation into the case is underway.
