Two dead in separate road accidents in Makwanpur

HETAUDA: Two people lost their lives in separate accidents in Makwanpur district.

Bipin Mahato (18) of Bishrampur died when a hydraulic crane, heading to Hetauda from Churiyamai on the East-West Highway, lost control and overturned on Thursday morning. Mahato was working as the assistant operator of the crane.

According to the police, Mahato was rescued from under the body of the crane and rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Likewise, Rajyashree Thapa Chhetri (62) died when a scooter met with an accident at Jurikhet in Bhimphedi-6 on Wednesday evening.

The scooter was heading to Hetauda from Kathmandu. Shashiraj Pandey (65) of Kathmandu-27 was injured in the accident. He is receiving treatment at Hetauda Hospital.
