Two dead in road accident in Makwanpur

KATHMANDU: Two individuals died, and another was injured in a road accident in Makwanpur on Thursday afternoon.

According to the District Police Office, Makwanpur, the incident occurred when a motorcycle lost control and fell 12 meters below the road near Dhawadi Bridge in Makwanpurgadhi Rural Municipality.

The deceased have been identified as Rupa Syangthan (34) and her five-month-old baby. The two died on the spot.

Similarly, Rupa’s husband, motorcycle rider Bhim Bahadur Syangtan (35), has been injured in the accident. He has been rushed to Bharatpur after receiving first aid at Hetauda Hospital.
