Two dead in Banke road accident

SURKHET: Two people died in a road accident in Rapti Sonari Rural Municipality-8 of Banke on Tuesday.

According to the police, Dr Sanju Khati (54) of Birendranagar Municipality-7 and her driver Subash Adhikari (37) died on the sport when their car with registration Ba 13 Cha 8253 collided with a passenger bus coming from opposing direction east of Nepal Army’s barrack.

Dr Khati was also the chairman of the management committee at Sri Krishna Sanskrit and Sadharan Secondary School in Birendranagar.

All the passengers and staff of the passenger bus are safe, police say.
