Two dead, 27 injured in Nepalgunj bus accident

KATHMANDU: Two persons died and 27 others were injured when a passenger bus met with an accident near Ganapur along Ratna Highway in Nepalgunj on Thursday morning.

The bus, which was heading to Nepalgunj from Tulsipur, lost control and flipped, a CCTV grab of the accident site shows.

The deceased has been identified as Dhan Bahadur Oli (60) and Santosh Bhushal (24) of Tulispur. Bhushal was the helper of the bus.

The injured are receiving treatment and Bheri Hospital and Kohalpur Teaching Hospital.
