Two dead, 21 injured in Surkhet bus accident

KATHMANDU: Two persons died and 21 others were injured when a passenger bus met with an accident in Surkhet on Monday.

According to the District Police Office, Surkhet, the bus coming to Surkhet from Dailekh veered off the road near Katakuwa in Birendranagar-7.

The deceased have been identified as Sher Bahadur Khadka (65) of Gamaudi in Dullu Municipality-10 and Bhimsen Rana of Dungeshwar Rural Municipality-6 of Dailekh.

The injured are receiving treatment at local health facilities.
