KATHMANDU: An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.8 struck was felt in Kathmandu Valley on Thursday afternoon.
According to Lokvijay Adhikari, chief of the National Seismological Center, the earthquake with epicenter in Majhitar of Sindhupalchowk was felt at around 1:02 pm. “Tremors were felt in Sindhupalchok, Kathmandu Valley, Kavre and other surrounding districts,” he added.
No reports of damage have been received so far.
