Tiger attack claims two lives in Nawalparasi East

KATHMANDU: Two women died due to a tiger attack in Binayi Triveni Rural Municipality of Nawalparasi East district on Sunday.

The deceased have been identified as Manadevi Poudel (51) and her daughter-in-law Bishnu (29). The bodies were found in a forest at Khahare in Binayi Triveni-1. The two had gone to the forest to collect fodder. Since they didn’t return home until late in the evening, the family informed the police.

The police have sent the bodies to Madhyabindu for a post-mortem test.
