KATHMANDU: The ambassadors of Qatar, Peru, and Cambodia submitted their letters of credence to President Ram Chandra Poudel amid separate ceremonies organized at the Office of the President on Monday.
Mishal bin Mohamed Ali Al-Ansari is Qatar’s resident ambassador for Nepal. However, the Ambassador of Peru, Javier Manuel Paulinich Velarde, and the Ambassador of Cambodia, Kuong Koy, will oversee affairs in Nepal from their respective embassies in New Delhi.
All three ambassadors were escorted to the Office of the President in a horse-drawn carriage from Hotel Radisson Kathmandu in Lazimpat.
High-ranking officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Office of the President were present on the occasion.
