KATHMANDU: Three individuals were killed and 19 others were injured in a tractor accident at Andheri in Bakaiya Rural Municipality–7 of Makawanpur on Tuesday.
According to the District Police Office, Makwanpur, the deceased have been identified as Keshav Majhi (55), Yubaraj Majhi (55), and Shantalal Majhi (45).
All three are residents of the same locality. They succumbed to injuries while receiving treatment at a hospital in Hetauda.
Police say as many as 22 people, all laborers working on the Kathmandu Tarai/Madhesh Expressway, were traveling on the ill-fated tractor.
