KATHMANDU: Three children, including two from the same family, died from drowning in Kailali on Friday.
According to the District Police Office, Kailali, the incident occurred while the children were bathing in a canal of the Rani Jamara Kulariya Irrigation Project near Saatbigha.
The deceased have been identified as twins Nisha Bajgain and Manushi Bajgain of Tikapur Municipality-1, and Sulochana Timilsina of Janaki-5.
Police said Nisha and Manushi had gone to bathe in the canal while visiting their relatives in Janaki-5.
