
POKHARA: Police have arrested three individuals on the charge of stealing Rs 600,000 from a delivery company in Naya Bazar, Pokhara.
The trio was apprehended from Pasryang in Pokhara Metropolitan City-5 on Tuesday, according to the District Police Office, Kaski.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Arjung Pariyar (29) of Tutunga in Pokhara-15, Bikas Adhikari of Pokhara-10, and Lokendra Bahadur Itani, a resident of Dhading currently residing in Nalako Mukh, Pokhara-2.
According to police reports, the three broke into the office of the delivery company by breaking the windowpane of its toilet on April 6 and fled with the cash locker containing Rs 582,580.
“Police also recovered a mobile phone and a bag from the accused individuals,” stated DSP Basanta Kumar Sharma, the information officer of Kaski Police.
