KATHMANDU: The Nepal Nursing Council has decided to postpone the publication of results for the 23rd license examination after some examinees were found to have leaked the question paper while the exam was underway.
During the examination held at the Siddharth Vanasthali Institute center, three students allegedly took a photo of the question paper and forwarded it to Chij Kumar Shrestha, a driver associated with the Pokhara-based All Bright Institute. According to the police, the three examinees were enrolled in a nursing preparation course at the institute.
Police have arrested three individuals, identified as Sabina Ale Magar (23) from Dhading, and Bhavana Gurung (20) and Samiksha Thapa (20) from Kaski, for further investigation.
Dineshraj Mainali, the spokesperson for the District Police Office, Kathmandu, confirmed that an investigation has been launched into the incident.
Rekha Giri, the information officer of the Nepal Nursing Council, stated that the publication of the results will be withheld until the investigation report is released.
