Teenager steals bus in Pokhara, drives it 123 km to Chitwan

POKHARA: Police have apprehended a 17-year-old on charges of stealing a passenger bus.

According to the District Police Office, Kaski, the teenager took control of the bus parked at Prithvi Chowk and drove it to Aptari, Chitwan—a distance of 123 kilometers.

The police have not disclosed the name of the teenager, as he is a minor.

Police arrested the 17-year-old while he was driving the bus at Aptari on Saturday night.

The owner of the bus had filed a complaint with the police after it went missing from the parking spot on Friday night.

Shravan Kumar BK, the spokesperson for the District Police Office in Kaski, stated that preliminary investigations indicated that the bus was indeed driven to Chitwan by the 17-year-old.
