KATHMANDU: Sipradi Trading, the official distributor of Tata Motors in Nepal, has launched Tata’s most affordable electric vehicle – Tiago EV – in the Nepali market.
Minister for Finance Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat unveiled the car during the NADA Auto Show that kicked off at the Bhrikuti Mandap Exhibition Hall in Kathmandu on Tuesday.
According to Sipradi Trading, Tiago EV will be available in two versions – Medium Range and Long Range. The price of the Medium Range starts from Rs 2.199 million, and the Long Range starts from Rs 2.549 million.
The Long Range version is powered by a 49.01 kW motor and comes loaded with a 24 kWh battery pack and delivers a range of 315 km. Similarly, the Medium Range version is powered by a 45 kW motor and comes loaded with a 19.2 kWh battery pack, which gives a range of 250 km.
