KATHMANDU: A task force formed by the ruling coalition has submitted the Common Minimum Program of the government to the top leaders of the ruling parties.
Two task force members, Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa and CPN-UML Deputy General Secretary Pradeep Gyawlai, handed over the document to Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli and NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba on Wednesday.
According to leaders, the common minimum program prioritizes issues such as constitutional amendment, good governance, economic prosperity, development and job creation.
The task force included General Secretary Gagan Thapa and leader Prakashman Singh from the Nepali Congress, and Deputy General Secretaries Pradeep Gyawali and Bishnu Rimal from the CPN-UML.
NC Spokesperson Dr Prakaash Sharan Mahat and UML Deputy General Secretary Bishnu Rimal were the other members of the task force.
