KATHMANDU: Newly-appointed ambassador of Switzerland to Nepal, Dr. Danielle Meuwly, paid a courtesy call on Chief of Army Staff Prabhu Ram Sharma at the army headquarters in Bhadrakali on Wednesday.
According to a statement issued by the Nepal Army, issues of mutual interest and bilateral relations were discussed during the meeting.
“The army is confident that such visits help in strengthening friendly relations between the two countries,” the statement added.
Ambassador Meuwly pesented her credentials to President Ram Chandra Poudel on October 5.
