SSP Ramesh Thapa
KATHMANDU: The Nepal Police headquarters has replaced Kathmandu’s police chief.
According to Nepal Police, SSP Ramesh Thapa has been posted to the District Police Range, Kathmandu.
He replaces SSP Bishwo Adhikari, who was reportedly removed for his failure to maintain proper security arrangements during last week’s Gen Z protests.
Before this new posting, SSP Thapa was serving as the Deputy Spokesperson of the Nepal Police at the Nepal Police headquarters.
