Special Court Chairperson, members sworn in

KATHMANDU: The newly-appointed Chairperson and members of the Special Court were sworn in on Sunday.

Chief Justice Bishwombhar Prasad Shrestha administered the oath of office and secrecy to the Special Court Chairperson Tek Narayan Kunwar and Members Tej Narayan Singh Rai, Ram Bahadur Thapa, Murari Babu Shrestha and Ritendra Thapa amid a ceremony organized at the Supreme Court.

A meeting of the Judicial Council held on November 21 had decided to recommend Dipayal High Court Judge Tek Narayan Kunwar as the Chairman of the Special Court. The members of the Special Court were also recommended by the same meeting.
