The six industries participating in the program are Litmus Industries, Arihant Multifibres, Kiran Shoes Manufacturers, Baba Jute Mill, Modern Slipper Industries, and Run Shoes Industries.

According to the agreement, these industries will select a total of 1,665 trainee workers and provide them with at least 18 months of employment after training. The center will cover the salary for a maximum of three months for these trainee workers.

Commenting on the agreement, Minister for Industry, Commerce, and Supplies, Ramesh Rijal, said that he was hopeful that the program would enhance the productivity of the industries and create more employment opportunities in the country.

Similarly, CNI President Rajesh Kumar Agarwal said that nine industries had applied for 2,100 trainee workers through CNI. “However, only six industries could participate in the program in the current fiscal year,” he said. “This program needs to be made more effective in the coming years.”
