Six in fray for ANNFSU-R Chairperson

KATHMANDU: Six candidates have filed nominations for the post of Chairperson of the All Nepal National Free Students Union-Revolutionary (ANNFSU-R).

ANNFSU-R is the student organization of the main opposition CPN (Maoist Center).

Updesh Yadav, Sudin Paudel, Hemant Rai, Bijay Sapkota, Bishwamani Thapa and Yogendra Budha have filed nominations for the post of Chairperson, according to ANNFSU-R.

Similarly, eight are in the fray for the position of General Secretary. They include Sanjeev Phuyal, Roshan Thapa Magar, Roshan Khadka, Padam Kafle, Prateek Karki, Tirsana Hamal, Govinda Baniya and Shyam Roka.

Likewise, Parvati Chaulagain and Phulmaya Rana have filed nominations for the post of Treasurer.

ANNFSU-R is holding a vote to elect its new leadership on Saturday.
