Shrestha, Dhungana promoted to Secretary

KATHMANDU: Two joint secretaries of the judicial service have been promoted to the rank of Secretary.

A cabinet meeting held on Tuesday promoted Alok Chandra Shrestha and Parashwar Dhungana to Secretary.

The two were recommended for promotion by the Judicial Service Commission last week.

Shrestha has been deputed to the Law Service Commission, while Dhungana will discharge responsibility as the Secretary of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission.

Similarly, the cabinet has deputed the newly-promoted Additional Inspector General (AIG) of Nepal Police, Ram Dutta Joshi, at the Operations Department.

Likewise, it has decided to transfer AIG Kiran Bajracharya to Kathmandu Valley Police Office, AIG Shyam Lal Gyawali to Provicne Coordination Department and AIG Deepak Thapa to Central Investigation Bureau (CIB).
