
KATHMANDU: The ruling parties have decided to advance the land-related ordinance by forging an all-party consensus.
A meeting of top leaders of the ruling coalition held at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar on Tuesday also decided to expedite pending bills in Parliament, according to Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security Sharat Singh Bhandari.
Bhandari added that the meeting also decided to forge a political consensus on the land-related ordinance.
Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, Loktantrik Samajbadi Party Nepal, Chairperson Mahantha Thakur, Janamat Party Chairperson CK Raut, Janata Samajbadi Party Chairperson Ashok Rai and Nagarik Unmukti Party Chairperson Ranjita Shrestha, among others.
