KATHMANDU: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) lawmaker Shishir Khanal has said that the party will thoroughly review the evaluation report submitted to party President Rabi Lamichhane by General Secretary Mukul Dhakal.
Speaking to the media on the Federal Parliament Building premises on Thursday, Khanal said that the party had assigned General Secretary Dhakal to reach to lower units of the party and collect their feedback after concerns were raised from various quarters that the party may have weakened.
“Our party members had raised concerns about whether RSP has weakened across all fronts,” he said. “In response, the party tasked the General Secretary with conducting a study and submitting a report following our poor performance in the Ilam by-elections.”
Khanal added that the party will make public the findings after a thorough study of the report.
General Secretary Dhakal submitted his evaluation report to President Lamichhane on Wednesday. Dhakal consulted with party members and leaders in 38 districts to prepare his report.
