KATHMANDU: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has decided to hold its first general convention in Chitwan on May 8-10 next year.
Speaking at a press meet in Kathmandu on Sunday, Acting Spokesperson Manish Jha said a central committee meeting of the party held on Sunday took the decision.
RSP also expressed objection to the high ticket prices charged by airlines taking advantage of road obstructions in different parts of the country. “Airfares have been raised arbitrarily. This should be rolled back at the earliest,” he added.
Stating that unscrupulous people are involved in black-marketeering activities, RSP requested police and local administration to keep vigil on such activities.
“We have decided to mobilize our party mechanism to work in coordination with the local administration to control black-marketeering,” Jha added.
