RSP gets four ministries; Lamichhane to become home minister

KATHMANDU: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has been given four ministries, including home affairs, in the new coalition government.

According to RSP Secretariat, the party has been given home; labor, employment, and social security; education, science, and technology; and youth and sports.

RSP President Rabi Lamichhane will lead the party in the government. Lamichhane will become Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs, while Vice President DP Aryal will become Minister for Labor, Employment, and Social Security.

Likewise, Biraj Bhakta Shrestha will become the Minister for Youth and Sports, while Sumana Shrestha will become the Minister for Education, Science, and Technology.

The ministers will be sworn in later on Wednesday. Aryal has already been administered the oath of office and secrecy.
