
KATHMANDU: The last rites of member of the House of Representatives and Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) leader, Deepak Bohara, were performed on Wednesday at Pashupati Aryaghat cremation grounds.
Bohara (74) passed away on Tuesday while undergoing treatment at Om Hospital in Kathmandu. His mortal remains were draped in the party’s flag before the funeral.
Acting Prime Minister Prakashman Singh, Speaker Devraj Ghimire and leaders from various political parties paid their last respects to Bohoara at Aryaghat.
Bohora was elected from the Rupandehi-3 constituency of the House of Representatives in the 2022 general elections. However, he could not participate in parliamentary affairs due to his health conditions.
