Rimal, Khatiwada named Oli’s advisers

KATHMANDU: Bishnu Rimal has been appointed as the Chief Political Adviser to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

A cabinet meeting held on Thursday made the decision, according to a minister.

Likewise, the meeting appointed former Finance Minister and former Nepal Rastra Bank Governor Dr Yuba Raj Khatiwada as Oli’s economic adviser.

Rimal, a deputy general secretary of CPN-UML, was also the chief political adviser to Oli in his previous term as prime minister.

The cabinet has also decided to form five cabinet committees.
