Report on Water Resources Bill submitted to National Assembly

KATHMANDU: The Legislative Management Committee submitted its report on the Water Resources Bill, 2024, in the National Assembly on Friday.

Committee Chairperson Tulasa Kumari Dahal presented the report to the Assembly.

The Bill includes provisions for the conservation and multi-dimensional use of water resources.

Similarly, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development Prakash Man Singh tabled the 62nd Annual Report of the Office of the Auditor General in the National Assembly during Friday’s session.

National Assembly Chair Narayan Prasad Dahal informed the House about a letter from the Office of the President regarding the allocation of portfolios to members of the Council of Ministers. He also announced changes and nominations to the membership of different thematic committees.
