Prime ceramic tiles now available in market

KATHMANDU: Prime Ceramics has launched Prime brand of tiles and ceramics products for both wall and flooring purposes in the Nepali market.

Located in Brindavan Municipality-6 of Rautahat, Prime Ceramics operates from a sprawling 70,000-square meter-facility, according to a press statement issued by the company. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology adopted from Italian multinational SACMI, Prime Ceramics has established an ultra-modern, fully automated manufacturing unit.

The introduction of Prime Ceramics comes at a significant time for Nepal as the country is importing tiles worth over Rs 15 billion annually. High freight charges, excise duty, and additional expenses incurred during imports contribute to the costly prices of tiles, often making them inaccessible for many Nepalis. Prime Ceramics aims to address this issue by fulfilling one-fourth of the current market demand through domestic production.

Prime Ceramics offers a wide range of sizes and over 250 designs available, including the largest size of 2 ft x 4 ft. The company is promoted by CMS Group and Fortune Ventures, which boast over two decades of experience in the tile business.
