President issues ordinance

KATHMANDU: President Ramchandra Poudel on Wednesday issued an ordinance that the government brought to deal with problems created by the loan sharks.

President Poudel issued an ‘Ordinance to Amend Some Acts related to National Penal Code, 2023’ on the recommendations of the Council of Ministers, a statement issued by the Office of President stated.

The cabinet meeting held on Tuesday had decided to bring a law to deal with problems created by loan sharks through an ordinance.
