KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Paudel has issued the Ordinance to Amend Some Land-Related Nepal Acts, 2025.
Issuing a statement on Wednesday, the Office of the President said the President issued the ordinance as per Article 114 (1) of the Constitution of Nepal, 2015.
President Paduel had earlier kept this ordinance the hold.
Out of five ordinances recommended by the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, the President had issued only four – Ordinance to Amend Certain Nepal Acts Related to Promotion of Good Governance and Public Service Delivery, 2025; Economic Procedures and Financial Accountability (First Amendment) Ordinance, 2025; Privatization (First Amendment) Ordinance, 2025; Ordinance to Amend Certain Nepal Acts Related to Improving Economic and Business Environment and Enhancing Investment, 2025 – on Monday.
