KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Paudel has urged protesters, citizens and all parties to help achieve a peaceful resolution to the current crisis.
Issuing a statement on Tuesday, he appealed to all sides to exercise restraint and come to the negotiating table, stating that the demands raised by citizens in a democracy, including those of Generation Z representatives, can be addressed through dialogue and discussion.
He expressed confidence that, with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s resignation already accepted, all parties will cooperate to resolve the situation in a way that protects the country, its people and democracy.
