KATHMANDU: Pokhara Thunders and Lalitpur City FC played to a goalless draw in the Nepal Super League (NSL) at Dasharath Stadium in Kathmandu on Wednesday.
Although both sides created some attractive moves, they couldn’t find the back of the net and had to settle for a share of points.
Pokhara Thunders had the opportunity to take the lead in the 6th minute of the match. However, Moses Twum’s shot hit the bar.
Lalitpur had a chance to score in the 33rd minute. However, Captain Ananta Tamang’s header was saved by Pokhara Thunders’ keeper, Yves Priso.
Despite the draw, Lalitpur City leads the table with four points from three matches, having defeated Butwal Lumbini FC 2-0 in its first game.
Pokhara Thunders also has four points from two matches, having won its first match against FC Chitwan 1-0.
Butwal Lumbini FC will take on Dhangadhi FC in the NSL on Thursday.
