KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Balendra Shah has inducted two new ministers into his cabinet.

President Ram Chandra Paudel appointed Gauri Kumari Yadav as Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies, and Ramji Yadav as Minister for Labor, Employment and Social Security on the recommendation of Prime Minister Shah, according to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat.

Prime Minister Shah himself was looking after the Industry, Commerce, and Supplies portfolio, while the Ministry of Labor, Employment, and Social Security became vacant on Thursday after Shah dismissed Deepak Shah on the recommendation of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President Rabi Lamichhane.

Gauri Kumari was elected from Mahottari-4 and Ramji from Saptari-2 in the House of Representatives elections held on March 5.
