KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has signed performance agreements with two Deputy Prime Ministers, ministers and the chief secretary.
The agreement outlines important tasks to be carried out and targets to be achieved in the current fiscal year.
The agreements were signed at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Singha Durbar, on Thursday.
Progress made by the ministries in the previous fiscal year and upcoming programs for the current fiscal year were also reviewed on the occasion.
The practice of signing performance agreements with ministers was first introduced during Oli’s previous term as prime minister to ensure the timely completion of infrastructure projects and improvements in service delivery, according to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat.
Ministers are now required to conclude similar performance agreements with their respective secretaries.
