PM Oli off to Bangkok

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli left for Bangkok on Monday for an official visit to Thailand and participation in the 6th BIMSTEC summit.

PM Oli is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra on April 2.

Nepal and Thailand are scheduled to sign seven Memoranda of Understanding during the visit.

Following these engagements, the Prime Minister will lead the Nepali delegation to the BIMSTEC Summit on April 4 in Bangkok. He will address the BIMSTEC Summit on the summit day.

The summit will begin on April 3. Senior officials from member states will meet on April 2, followed by a meeting of foreign ministers on April 3.
