KATHMANDU: Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli met with former President Bidya Devi Bhandari at her residence in Budhanilkantha on Thursday evening.
During the two-hour meeting, the two discussed recent political developments within the CPN (UML) and other contemporary issues, according to Prime Minister Oli’s secretariat.
The meeting has been seen with great significance within UML as many party leaders and cadres say Bhandari is making a comeback to active politics and could challenge Oli for the post of chairperson in the 11th general convention of the party.
