KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has been stuck in Dhangahi as Buddha Air’s ATR 72 aircraft heading to Dhangadhi returned to Kathmandu due to bad weather.
Buddha Air’s Flight No. 255 took off from Kathmandu at 4:40 pm. The hour-long flight should have landed at 5:50 pm. However, the aircraft returned to Kathmandu and landed at Kathmandu airport at 6:45 pm.
Ganesh Bahadur Singh of the Civil Aviation Office, Dhangadhi, said that the airport returned Buddha Air’s Flight No. 255 due to heavy rains.
Dahal reached Kailali on Monday afternoon to lay the foundation stone for the Municipal Executive Office of the Lamki Chuha Municipality.
