PM Dahal shouldn’t have spoken about palace massacre: Nepal

KATHMANDU: CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that Prime Minister and CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal made an unnecessary comment about the 2003 Royal Palace Massacre.

Speaking at a press meet in Janakpur on Thursday, Nepal said the Prime Minister should have thoroughly thought and consulted with coalition partners before making such statements.

Talking to reporters a few days ago, Dahal said that the government would open an investigation into the royal massacre.

“The PM said the government would investigate the royal palace massacre. It would have been better had he consulted others first. He could have asked me,” Nepal said.
