KATHMANDU: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has reduced the price of petrol by Rs 5 per liter, and diesel and kerosene by Rs 1 per liter each.
Issuing a statement on Tuesday, the NOC said it reduced the price in line with the new price rates forwarded by its sole supplier—the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC).
With the fresh revision, petrol will be available for Rs 160 per liter in Kathmandu, while diesel and kerosene will retail for Rs 148 per liter each.
The new prices will come into effect from Tuesday midnight.
The NOC has kept the prices of aviation turbine fuel (ATF) and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) unchanged.
