KATHMANDU: The prices of petrol and diesel/kerosene have gone up by Re 1 and Rs 2 per liter, respectively.
Issuing a statement on Sunday, the NOC said it revised the prices upward on the basis of new price rates received from its sole supplier, the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), on Sunday.
With the fresh revision, petrol will retail in Kathmandu and major cities at Rs 160 per liter, while diesel/kerosene will be available for Rs 145 per liter.
The new prices will come into effect from Sunday midnight.
